SOUTH MIAMI-DADE CULTURAL ARTS CENTER

Opened in 2010, South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center (SMDCAC) is a cultural entertainment venue in Cutler Bay, Miami-Dade County. In addition to providing a diverse range of quality entertainment to people from all backgrounds and ages, SMDCAC’s mission includes an emphasis on educational outreach and activities for the surrounding community.

The Covid pandemic presented a difficult challenge to performing arts venues, and Matrix2 worked with SMDCAC to help promote virtual presentations while the stage went “dark”. The “Sessions” series enabled local artists to perform and present from home, with a suggestion of small donations, while continuing engagement with their audiences. Indie Flicks showcased on-line screenings of independent films, continuing the effort for SMDCAC to remain visible and relevant in a temporarily compromised situation.

Year after year, we have consistently increased new user awareness and general website traffic in a very competitive market through strategic digital and social media presence.
